All hired goods (and non-disposable packaging) remain the property of the owner The Little Linen Company.
During the period the goods are on hire, the customer shall be solely responsible for the hired goods and shall alone be responsible for insuring the goods from time of acceptance of the goods until the return and acceptance of goods back into the possession of the The Little Linen company.
The Little Linen Company shall not be responsible for injury or damage to persons or property howsoever sustained arising from any goods under hire. It is the responsibility of the customer to fully indemnify The Little Linen Company in respect of all claims by any person whosoever for any accident or damage caused by, or arising from the use of hired goods, and in respect to all costs or charges arising thereof.
The Little Linen Company will always endeavour to supply the specific goods requested. However, The Little Linen Company serves the right to supply the customer with similar substitute goods where necessary.
The Little Linen Company will do its utmost to ensure all goods are delivered in the correct quantities and on the scheduled days.
At the time when goods on hire are collected by or delivered to the customer or his representative, the customer has the responsibility for inspecting the goods. In the event of shortage or damage, the customer shall endorse the note accordingly at the time of collection or delivery. If the customer fails to perform any of his obligations under this condition, all goods will be deemed to have been collected/delivered in a satisfactory condition.
If the customer has any complaint with regards to the condition of the goods hired, The Little Linen Company must be informed immediately by phone or by email. The Little Linen Company will not consider a replacement once the items have been used.
In no circumstances will the Little Linen Company liability exceed the invoice value of the goods hired.
By accepting confirmation of your order, you are accepting our Terms and Conditions. These are the terms to which you will be contracted. No alteration or substitution to the terms and conditions will be valid unless agreed in writing by both parties.
The Little Linen Company will require access to a contracted account at monthly intervals if we feel that’s necessary to check stock levels to ensure nothing missing.
Hired items that are wet or badly soiled needs to be returned in a plastic bag to avoid contamination to the other linen in bag. Damage resulting from mildew or other stains that do not respond to standard laundering will be charged at full replacement cost.
Shortages and damages to hired goods will be charged at their full replacement value (details of which are available on request). No substitute item will be accepted by the Owner. Damaged goods include those that have sustained burns, scorches, tears, defacement, concrete, ink and earth stains.
All linen should be always left in a dry and secure location.
All invoices need to be paid within 14days of invoice being sent. We are vat registered vat number 386725160 this is added to all invoices. Invoice queries need to be notified to The Little Linen Company with 1 week of receipt of invoices.
Once invoices become overdue The Little Linen Company reserve the right to put the account on hold without notice, take immediate steps to recover outstanding money owed including legal help if required.
All customers must advise The Little Linen Company if any toxic or hazardous substances have been in contact with items returned.
Prices are quoted for a one day hire only. Extended hire terms are available upon request.
The little linen company are not liable for any reactions caused by the chemicals we use. All chemicals are safely tested by the company that provides them.
The little Linen Company will require 90 days’ notice of termination.
The services provided by The Little Linen Company are subject to your compliance with and acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth below. Your use of The Little Linen Company services (“Services”) indicates your agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
Payment The customer must complete payment within 14 days of receiving the invoice. The Little Linen Company are VAT registered VAT NO 386725160 which is added to your invoice. All payments are non-refundable.
Inventory The Little Linen Company is not responsible for any items not listed on the Collection Slip. The Customer agrees to be bound by the content of the Collection Slip. Collection slips will be provided by The Little Linen Company. We have an optional use of a free laundry bags at the customers request, which will need to be returned if you do not require our services anymore.
Linen Care The Little Linen Company will use reasonable efforts to maintain a high-quality cleaning service. The Little Linen Company accepts no liability for damage due to normal cleaning of items with or without care instructions. The Little Linen Company accepts no liability for special care items that require special attention they do not offer dry cleaning. The Little Linen Company is not responsible for all personal linen bleeding, shrinking, or otherwise changing as a result of normal cleaning procedures. The Little Linen Company reserves the right to refuse to clean any garment. The Little Linen Company does not guarantee the removal of all stains. The Little Linen Company is not responsible for loss of or damage to any personal or non-cleanable items left in the clothing or laundry bags such as money, jewellery, or any other item. The customer agrees not to leave such items in their clothing or in their laundry bags. Zippers and buttons behave unpredictably while cleaning. Customers should be aware that there is a possibility of zipper/buttons issues while following normal cleaning procedures, and The Little Linen Company does not accept any liability for such issues.
Loss or Damage Missing or damaged items must be reported to The Little Linen Company at the time of delivery of your garments/linen. Failure to report the missing or damaged on delivery shall remove any liability of The Little Linen Company for the missing or damaged item. In the event that any item is lost or damaged by The Little Linen Company, The little Linen Company liability with respect to any damaged or lost items shall not exceed ten (10) times our charge for cleaning that laundry regardless of brand or condition. The Little Linen Company is not liable for any pre-existing damage to a garment or other item and reserves the right to return any item without cleaning it if any pre-existing damage is found or if we have a concern about the colourfastness or the age or weakness of the fabric.
Uncollected Items The Little Linen Company reserves the right to dispose of any items not collected within 120 days of the date stated on the collection slip. The Little Linen Company shall have no liability whatsoever in respect of items disposed of pursuant to this clause.
Chemicals
The Little Linen Company are not liable for any reactions caused by the chemicals we use. All chemicals are safely tested by the company that provides them.
